Program Activation

In order to use Mass Frontier™ 5.0 the program must be activated. After the installation procedures are completed and you first start Mass Frontier, the license page will be displayed. The program generates a unique system software Serial Number that must be sent Thermo Electron San Jose technical support. Please be sure to include your name, company, e-mail or fax number, serial number and the type of license desired when contacting technical support.

You will then be sent a software access code Activation Key that should be entered in the edit box marked “Activation Key”. You should then click on the Activation button and the program will be activated according to the type of authorization your license gives you. We recommend sending the Serial Number by e-mail. To avoid typing errors, please use Copy and Paste commands. Please remember the Serial Number begins with a number, whereas the Activation Key begins with a letter. Both make use of capital letters only. The Number “0” and the letters “O” and “I” are not used.

Two types of license are available:

  • Full Version Single License (Xcalibur® and Windows® 2000 or XP® required)
  • Upgrade from 4.0 Single License (Xcalibur® and Windows® 2000 or XP® required)

If you purchase the Full Version Single License or the Upgrade Single License, Mass Frontier will be activated for an unlimited period. Each Activation Key is valid only for a single license. Additional program installation will generate a different Serial Number and will require a different Activation Key.
