Processing Data Reduced Chromatograms

To export a data reduced chromatogram to Database Manager, select the desired scans or components in Chromatogram Processor and use the copy and paste commands. To select multiple scans or components, use the Shift or Ctrl keys. Data reduced chromatograms present in Database Manager can be saved to any library using the same procedure as for saving spectra or trees. Components from data reduced chromatograms can be edited or searched in Components Editor that can be opened using Edit Components  Image  button. Chromatographic scans or trees are fully searchable, if the search option is enabled (Library Search window, Advance page, Search In group box):

Any library chromatogram can be previewed in Chromatogram Database Viewer by clicking the Chromatogram Database Viewer button Image in the Database Manager tool bar. Mass Frontier recalls the file path to the original chromatographic data for every chromatographic library entry, in order to review or process it. To access the original chromatographic dataset, retrieve the corresponding record from the library, open Chromatogram Database Viewer and click the Reload Original Data File button Image in the task bar. The original data will be opened in a new Chromatogram Processor window.

Note: Library storage of data reduced chromatograms is not a replacement for the standard certified archiving procedures required by FDA (21 CFR Part 11), but rather an accompaniment to them.
